Quantifying this, however, remains a significant challenge for which there are many emerging tools. The concept of the Ecological Footprint is one such accounting tool for comprehensive assessment of the status of sustainable development, based on integration of resource consumption and land capacity, reflecting the human impact on the environment. A region’s development is defined as unsustainable when the Ecological Footprint surpasses the biological capacity. The Ecological Footprint has emerged as the world’s premier measure of humanity’s demand on nature. This accounting system tracks, on the demand side (Footprint), how much land and water area a human population uses to provide all it takes from nature. This includes the areas for producing the resource it consumes, the space for accommodating its buildings and roads, and the ecosystems for absorbing its waste emissions such as carbon dioxide. These calculations account for each year’s prevailing technology, as productivity and technological efficiency change from year to year. One of the most innovative methods to calculate and evaluate the effects of human behavior on the environment and surrounding geography is the method of ecological footprint that popular in recent years has been many of the communities. The results of this study, show that among (the Southern provinces Caspian Sea) provinces of golestan, guilan and mazandaran, golestan have 1.786 (ha/per) of ecological footprint (minimal ecological footprint in this provinces) and residents of mazandaran have 2.106 (ha/per) of ecological footprint (highest ecological footprint in this provinces).}, keywords = {Ecological Footprint,sustainable development,Biological Capacity,Southern provinces of Caspian Sea}, title_fa = {بررسی پایداری منطقه‌ای استانهای حاشیه دریای خزر با استفاده از شاخص جای پای اکولوژیک}, abstract_fa = {چکیده با افزایش شهرنشینی و تغییر سبک زندگی انسان ها در دهه های اخیر، پایداری اجتماعات مورد چالش جدی قرار گرفته است. با بروز و تشدید این آثار، رهیافت توسعه پایدار از سوی سازمان ملل متحد مطرح شد. برای ارزیابی میزان کمی این توسعه و اندازه گیری ناپایداری، تلاشهای فراوانی صورت گرفت که منجر به ایجاد شاخص ها و روشهای جدیدی شده است. مفهوم جای پای اکولوژیک، یکی از ابزارهای محاسباتی جامع برای ارزیابی میزان توسعه پایدار است. توسعه یک منطقه، زمانی «ناپایدار» قلمداد می شود که، میزان جای پای اکولوژیک از ظرفیت زیستی منطقه بالاتر باشد. در این پژوهش با استفاده از روش جای پای اکولوژیک به بررسی پایداری سه استان حاشیه دریای خزر(گلستان،گیلان، مازندران) پرداخته ایم و همچنین پایداری سه استان را با یکدیگر مقایسه کرده ایم.نتایج محاسبات نشان می دهد که استان گلستان جای پای اکولوژیکی به بزرگی 786/1 و استان گیلان084/2 و استان مازندران 106/2 سرانه هکتاردارند.که استان مازندران در مقایسه با دو استان دیگر دارای جای پای بزرگتری است. با مقایسه جای پای اکولوژیک و ظرفیت زیستی هر استان نیز، پی می بریم که هر سه استان دارای ناپایداری هستند. اما از آنجا که جای پای اکولوژیک استان گیلان 76/5 برابر ظرفیت زیستی اش(361/0) می باشد، در مقایسه با دو استان دیگر ناپایدار تر و دارای کسری اکولوژیک بزرگتری می باشد.}, keywords_fa = {جای پای اکولوژیک,ظرفیت زیستی,توسعه پایدار,استان های حاشیه دریایخزر}, url = {https://gps.gu.ac.ir/article_11880.html}, eprint = {https://gps.gu.ac.ir/article_11880_83cb43676d99608b928135a49f7e73d6.pdf} }
