The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of life quality on the security of Neka sub-urban villages. the main objective of rural development projects and plans is to promote the quality of life in rural communities. On the other hand, security is one of the most important aspects of life and the most important reason people are relaxed. One of the main factors in establishing security in rural areas, improve the quality of life in these areas. Neka city as one of the northern cities due to the industrial situation of this city and its industrial activities(including cement plants, silos, power plants and oil refineries), the city of Neka has emerged as a destination for many migrants who are looking for job opportunities either locally or nationally,That this trend continues, local and non-local populations have been flooding this city gradually.There are good conditions for the quality of life of the settlers, has a great impact on security in the sub-urban villages.The study population consisted of nine villages around the city of Neka. Data analysis was performed by Pearson correlation, multiple regression and path analysis using SPSS and Lisrel softwares. Pearson correlation test results indicated that the security of the understudy villages was impacted by the quality of life (0.78 %). Research findings also indicate that quality of life and security in the studied villages are unfavorable; The economic dimension is the most influential factor in the quality of life in the villages studied. Based on the fuzzy model, rural security measures are categorized based on the Fuzzy Similarity Index score using cluster analysis method at three acceptable, moderate and poor levels. The Oumal village with a similarity index of 0.49 has been identified as the most stable village of 9 villages studied.
